Some Quick Information On This Product

Weight to Go is a cleverly named diet shake that, as the name suggests, you can use to make your excess weight go… away. We do love a good play on words here at SlimmingPillsReview and this products knocks it out of the park!

While these shakes may have a 10/10 name, sadly the formula used in this product is far from a perfect 10 score. Weight to Go is completely led down by its lack of innovation and frankly striped-bare formula.

At their core, the Weight to Go shakes are literally just protein shakes, which explains the impressive protein content per serving. These shakes contain some added vitamins and minerals as well, but this product is pretty much just a well branded protein shake with a higher price (that’s right – just like the protein powder you can get from your local bodybuilding gym).

The overall idea behind the Weight to Go diet shakes is that you will switch all three of your daily meals with the shakes – meaning you will be drastically dropping your calories to approximately 500-600 per day. This would be classed as a VLCD, which stands for “very low calorie diet”.. which is just a family-friendly term for a starvation diet. Needless to say VLCD’s come with their issues, such as users pretty much constantly feeling hungry and low in energy.

As we mentioned earlier, the Weight to Go shakes don’t break any boundaries when it comes to formula – there are no ingredients inside that work to actively suppress appetite and boost energy/metabolism levels. With this being the case, users will probably struggle with rampant hunger cravings while using the Weight to Go shakes as directed (three shakes per day as your meals).

Are Weight to Go Shake A Good Product To Help Me Lose Weight?

Using the Weight to Go shakes could potentially be a good way to lose weight, as we’ve already established, these shakes pretty much just put you on a VLCD (starvation diet).. it doesn’t take a genius to work out that you can quite easily lose weight if you’re starving yourself. While these VLCD’s come with their demons (constant hunger, low energy, feeling unwell) you can still see success with them – as long as you remain using the shakes indefinitely, which can get expensive.

We personally do not believe this product is good for weight loss however. There are two main reason for our verdict – reason one is that the shakes will be too hard to stick to for most people, reason two is that we believe the weight lost will quickly return once you return to a normal eating pattern.

What Are The Weight to Go Ingredients?

The ingredients for the shakes are as follows:

Skimmed Milk Powder, Soya Protein Isolate, Cocoa Powder, Calcium Caseinate (Milk, Soya), Vegetable Oil (Soya), Chicory Root Extract, Flavourings, Vitamin & Mineral Blend (Calcium Phosphate, Magnesium Phosphate, Magnesium Oxide, Vitamin C, Ferric Pyrophosphate, Vitamin E, Chromium Chloride, Potassium Iodide, Nicotinamide, Zinc Oxide, Sodium Selenite, Copper Gluconate, Vitamin A, Vitamin B5, Manganese Sulphate, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Thiamine Mononitrate), Potassium Phosphate, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder, Tapioca Starch, Dried Glucose, Thickeners (Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum), Emulsifier (Sodium Tripolyphosphate), Sweetener (Sucralose), Anti-Caking Agent (Silicon Dioxide).

Ingredients and nutritional information can differ slightly between flavours.

What Are The Weight to Go Side Effects?

While side effects are probably unlikely with this product, they could potentially be:

  • Upset stomach
  • Diarrhoea
  • Nausea

What does Weight to Go claim their shake do?

We have found that Weight to Go make the following claim about their shakes

“They’re the best diet shakes for weight loss..”

Our Weight to Go shakes review team have stated that this is completely false, they are absolutely not the “best”. The Weight to Go shakes are a pretty basic product – we have seen many more advanced and innovative products on the weight loss shake market.

Are There Any Reviews From Customers?

We have found the following Weight to Go review testimonials via Trustpilot:

only been using the diet products for 5 days so can,t comment as yet on any results but will later in the course. delivery very fast from time of ordering, impressive

Pete’s view

No complaints tasty meals

Where Can I Buy This Product?

This product is available from the official Weight to Go homepage. We could not find any stores or third party retailers that stock these shakes.

Our Conclusion.

To conclude our Weight to Go Shakes review, we believe that this product probably won’t deliver weight loss results for the typical user, at least in the long term. The shakes only work because they put you into a VLCD / starvation diet, which as you can imagine comes with many negative side effects such as constantly feeling ravenously hungry and feeling fatigued 24/7.

When you finish using these shakes, any weight lost will probably quickly return.

If you’re looking for a great weight loss shake, we recommend you check out our best rated weight loss shake, Burner Shake.
