Some Quick Information On This Product

Forget everything you’ve read online that calls the Herbalife Formula 1 shake a miracle weight loss shake.. it’s not. The company has hundreds of independent “marketers” pushing their products across the search engines, social media and in real life.. in reality these “Herbalife reps” are just people are just would-be businessmen(and businesswomen) actively decieving people just so they can make a quick sale.

Herbalife is a multi-level marketing company, meaning it mainly sells to individuals who then go on to sell those products to their friends, family and other suckers who’ll believe the absolute lies they tell about the products. Our Herbalife Formula 1 review team found that recently, Herbalife agreed to pay a $200million settlement to the FTC for “unfair and deceptive practices”.

Now that that’s out the way, the shakes themselves are some of the most basic we’ve seen. The Herbalife Formula 1 shake is pretty much just a well-branded Soya protein shake.. Soya being the cheapest form of protein powder available. There are additional vitamins and minerals added, but the product is completely lacking any proven fat burning ingredients or appetite suppressing ingredients. The price point of this product is frankly shocking for what users actually get.. which is a mediocre soya protein shake that many customers have stated tastes bad, has a lumpy texture and mixes poorly.

Is Herbalife Formula 1 A Good Product To Help Me Lose Weight?

No, no.. No. This product is pretty much just a scam. Though Herbalife don’t actually make any weight loss claims about their Formula 1 shake, the amount of stuff our review team found online whilst researching this product was just ridiculous. Do not be mislead by false claims made on this product by a buddy, friend’s friend or acquaintance.. It’s just a Soya protein shake with some vitamins.

This product does not contain any fat burning ingredients, meaning users cannot expect rapid weight loss. Our Herbalife Formula 1 review team have stated that the only way you can lose weight with these shakes is to use these shakes as your three main daily meals, with a calorie controlled diet, over a long period of time. Using the shakes this way will put you on a VLCD (very low calorie diet).

Users should note that VLCD’s are not the best way to lose weight – as the shakes won’t boost your metabolism you’ll be relying on your body’s metabolic rates to gradually burn calories (again, don’t expect fast results from Herbalife Formula 1). Weight can quickly return once you discontinue using the shakes as your daily meals.

What Are The Herbalife Formula 1 Ingredients?

We have found the following Formula 1 ingredients from the Herbalife product factsheet:

Soy protein isolate, fructose, soy lecithin, soy oil, flavours, thickeners (guar gum powder, cellulose powder, carrageenan, xanthan gum), calcium citrate, fructooligosaccharides, oat fibre, corn bran, anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide), milk protein, dextrose, colour (beet powder), potassium phosphate, magnesium oxide, rapeseed oil, L-ascorbic acid, ferrous fumarate, pectin, honey powder, DL-alpha tocopherol acetate, nicotinamide, parsley powder, papaya powder, zinc oxide, cupric gluconate, retinyl palmitate, calcium D-pantothenate, cholecalciferol, antioxidants (alpha-tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate), pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, manganese carbonate, riboflavin, thiamin hydrochloride, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, D-biotin. Contains gluten

For allergens – see ingredients in bold.

Look at these ingredients, we can see this product is pretty much just a blend of variously protein powders (mainly soya) with added extras. There is nothing innovative or ground-breaking about this formula – there are no fat burning or appetite suppressing ingredients inside, meaning it won’t exactly speed up  weight loss.

What Are The Herbalife Formula 1 Side Effects?

We have found the following potential side effects:

constipation, bloating, and nausea. [1]

These effects are possible but may not be typical.

What does Herbalife Formula 1 claim to do?

Herbalife themselves no longer make any claims about this product. The only official statement on the Formula 1 shake is

Delicious healthy meal that provides an excellent balance of high quality protein from milk and soy, essential micronutrients and added botanicals and herbs.”

This statement certainly doesn’t make the product seem like the “miracle” fat burning weight loss shake that it’s been painted out to be.. That’s because it isn’t!

Are There Any Reviews From Customers?

We have found the following Herbalife Formula 1 review testimonials online:

Gives me energy for a while but after a while I start feeling really hungry again. The shakes aren’t that filling and for someone like me who has a really big appetite I find myself reaching into the fridge an hour after usage 🙁

Doesn’t taste great.. couldn’t get it to mix well either literally had to use a blender to get rid of the lumps.

Where Can I Buy This Product?

This product is available on the herbalife website, as well as Amazon. You can buy any Herbalife product from their dedicated “Herbalife Reps”, which are their third-party suppliers.

Our Conclusion.

To conclude our Herbalife Formula 1 review, we do not recommend this product. It’s expensive and it’s pretty much just an overhyped Soya protein shake with some vitamins and minerals added. The formula is totally lacking any fat burning ingredients and also doesn’t have anything to suppress your appetite longterm – something which we believe is a must-have for any weight loss shake that requires it’s users to swap their meals for it.
