  1. I BOUGHT THE 4-WK OFFER AND AFTER TRYING THE COOKIES FOR 4 WKS. I FIND THEY GIVE ME TERRIBLE GASTROINTESTIONAL MOTILITY. I AM SURE IT IS THIS COOKIE AS I HAVE TESTED THEM WITH OFF DAYS, ETC. I HAVE A LOT OF THEM LEFT. IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN THEM FOR A REFUND? SURE WISH THEY HAD WORKED. BAD AS THEY TASTE, AT LAST IT WAS SOMETHING TO EAT !!

  2. Judih - I agree they are terrible. I even tried cutting them up into bit size pieces and just snacking on them at work but it didn’t work.

    They taste bad and do bad things to your tummy that should not be talked aobut.

  4. I agree at first the cookies did not taste the best. But i found flavors that i did like. I was on the diet from December 07-december 08 and lost a 90 pounds. I think there diet is great and worked great for me. And the more was on the diet the better choices to eat. Because i seen my weight fly off of me. I would have lost more but on the weekends i would not do the diet but i would have that slice of pizza. And i found myself saying i dont want that peice of cake i would have a jello cup instead and be happy. I never lost weight so easily before. If you follow any diet you will lose the weight, you just got to stick with what ever you are doing.

  5. Loved the cookies, yes take with water. I don’t like thinking of what I’m going to eat, the time to prepare it or the clean up. This cookie allows me to have no hunger, lose weight, plan my day and have a healthy meal with the family at night. I had no issues with my GI, but I have always taken fibre pills and vitamins.

  6. The first bite is not the greatest but if you are one that is used to eating food from a health store…its the same taste. I must say the chocoloate chip and the oatmeal raisin are the best…the blueberry ones they can do without. I have been on it for 3-1/2 weeks and have lost 11 lbs. I consider this tryout my motivation to getting healthy and active to continue to keep the weight off. I bought the 4+1 weeks cookie supply and will get it again for an additional 4+1 weeks supply.

  9. I’ve been on the smart for life diet for just under two weeks and have never been hungry. I think the cookies taste surprisingly good and they do fill you up. It’s important to drink the 64 oz a day as is true whether or not you are on a diet. I’ve had no trouble sticking with it and lost 9.6# the first week. I don’t expect this rate of weight loss to continue but this is an easy diet to stick with. I hope it is retraining my eating habits too. It gives you confidence that you can eat less and be satisfied. Since portion control will be important to future maintenance, this is a big plus. My dad, who is a hopeless dieter, lost 45 # and is keeping it off. That’s testament enough for me.

Worked for me so far into my 2nd month with 15 lbs shed….my second order came from a Web site where when you enter your information to order your cookies and it does not register then you call in……they gave me a 10$ Discount on my 5 weeks of cookies…. only to find out that most of the packages of cookies had expired “Best(if used) by” dates. So buyer beware!
    I’m going back to just watching what I eat and exercising more!

    but im going to give it a shot anyways…
    ive tried everything and my friend did this and lost 30lbs in 2 months

    i just have some questions…
    i eat cookies all day until its time to eat dinner????
    and i got the variety pack with soups, shakes, muffins, puddings and all other kinds of things….
    when am i supposed to eat them?????????????

  17. So I have been on the “cookie” diet since January. I stick with it most of the time and occasionally, I will have a beer or other treat, but only at special occasions, and never more than once a week. I have lost 50 lbs and it has been mostly easy. The first week, as with any diet, was the worst. Besides the cookies and a healthy dinner I also exercise 1/2 hr a day. I have tried nearly every diet and this one has worked best for me. If you are in it for the long haul, give it a try.

    It took me 10 years to put on 100 lbs on, and with this diet it will take only 1 year to loose it, Great Deal !!!
