Sensa is a part of a new fad called the “Sprinkle Diet,” it is a crystal type substance called tastants, you sprinkle on your food in various flavors. The purpose is an attempt to stimulate an area of the brain to “tell” you that you are full and do not need to eat any more food. It was developed by Dr Alan Hirsh from the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation. Sensa claims that after 6 months on this product out of 1500 people in their studies each of them lost weight. We have yet to come across a product with a 100% success rate, so we are a little skeptical of their results.
