Does Metabolife Work?
The MetaboLife company is easily one of the most dishonest out there. It’s founder was sentenced to 6 months in federal custody after lying to the FDA about health problems caused by at least one of the company’s products back before ephedra was banned. This is after he was already charged for making methamphetamine. The company has also been charged with false advertising and unsubstantiated claims as well as tax evasion. Expecting Metabolife to work could be like expecting a sugar pill to work as birth control.

MetaboLife claims to owe its effectiveness to “SuperCitrimax” and garcinia cambogia. They are not bad ingredients and contain significant amounds of hydroxycitric acid, but there have been no studies showing their effectiveness in helping humans to metabolize more fat. Studies that did show effects were done on mice and less than 1% of the ingredients that work on mice end up working on humans.
Any kick you may get from MetaboLife is more likely due to green tea extract, guarana extract, and yerba mate extract, all of which contain significant amounts of caffeine and some antioxidants. This will boost your metabolism, but without a diet and exercise program will not really help you.

Regardless of whether the company is still up and running after all of the charges, I don’t trust these products to actually work as their exact concentrations are not disclosed.
