Does MeltDown Work?
MeltDown, a slimming pill made by VPX Sports, claims oh-so-boldly to have “university research” to prove it “kicks ephedrine’s ass.” Having looked through their website, it is not obvious that this “university research” is legit, but it’s still possible that Meltdown could be better than an ingredient that causes serious risk of heart problems.

MeltDown Ingredient Highlights
The proprietary blends included in Meltdown are a little difficult to interpret as they are given “scientific” sounding names and overly-complicated explanations (like using “androgen” instead of “compound”). In any case, this product does contain uncertain amounts of Methyl synephrine, phenylethylamine, yohimbe, and certainly a hefty dose of caffeine. Though most of these ingredients have some evidence to suggest that they may help you lose fat, yohimbe is particularly weak on evidence and has no research relating it directly to weight loss.
Is MeltDown Worth Trying?
The base ingredients in this product are good, but it is unclear how much of the effective ones are included and it is priced a little too high at $40 considering this fact. It appears that most of the effect you would get from it would be the caffeine and caffeine pills come very cheap in comparison, so I do not recommend trying MeltDown.
