In case you take all of that at face value, that’s a statement from the makers of Lipoxinol. Unfortunately, it appears that the product has been discontinued by the manufacturer – Sterling Grant Laboratories – but is still available online. Does this stuff actually live up to the hype?

To suppress appetite, there is a mix of glucomannan and xanthan gum. These are good ingredients and can make you feel full more quickly by absorbing water and expanding in your stomach if they are included in sufficient quantities. It is unclear how much is included here.

For a metabolic boost, the significant ingredients here are green tea, caffeine, and forslean. There is sufficient evidence to suggest these will accelerate your metabolism in the right concentration, but again it is unclear how much of each is included.

To stimulate the thyroid, this product contains guggulsterones, sclareolide, and kelp. Each of these ingredients may have some effect at stimulating the thyroid for various reasons, but the results are likely to be very marginal and their exact concentrations are unclear.

Is Lipoxinol Worth Trying?

In general, this is a decent formula, but the ingredients are not listed in their exact concentrations and so it is likely that it contains a number of cheap filler ingredients. There is no reason not to disclose ingredient concentrations unless there is something to hide usually. In any case, this product doesn’t appear to be worth $50.
