Lipovarin, a well marketed and much-hyped slimming pill, claims to be made of the “highest grade of patented, clinically proven ingredients that will energize your body and put you on the path to a new leaner, healthier you.”

Just a tip – always look closer when products use the word “patented” or “clinically proven”. Mainly because a patent doesn’t necessarily equal an effective product and clinically proven could mean just about anything as it doesn’t say who did the study or where or when or if the study was peer-reviewed. The main focus of Lipovarin is to boost your metabolism. They use citrus aurantium extract, sometimes called Advantra-Z. There is some evidence to suggest this is an effective ingredient for its synephrine content. Synephrine is a stimulant cousin to ephedrine, but it is unclear how much synephrine is included in the 350 mg of Advantra Z.

Other ingredients include green tea, caffeine, serotain, and metabromine. Green tea and caffeine are great ingredients and will definitely provide you with an energy boost and some anti-oxidants. Serotain contains components necessary in the synthesis of serotonin in your brain, which may help boost your sense of well-being. Metabromine has little application to weight-loss.

Is Lipovarin Worth Trying?

All in all, this is a good supplement and contains some good ingredients to boost your metabolism and improve your mood. I am not convinced that it is actually worth $35 for a 30-day supply but it is pretty good product to supplement your diet and exercise program. Don’t expect it to work on its own.
