The two main ingredients that Lipocerin is pushing are
- Hoodia Gordonii
- Chromium Picolinate
As for “clinical proof” behind these ingredients, the fact is that there have been no peer-reviewed clinical studies proving hoodi’as effectiveness. The website cites a study done in 2001 by Phytopharm, a British affiliate of Pfizer eventually dropped hoodia from its drug development program. This is not that convincing.
Chromium picolinate is a good ingredient, but has no direct evidence relating it to weight loss. It’s that simple. If this product does give you some kind of “kick”, it will likely be due to the caffeine content and diuretic properties of the remaining ingredients:
