Does Lipitrex Work?

Lipitrex, by Progressive Health, claims to suppress your appetite, minimize the amount of fat you store, increase the amount of fat you burn, and give you a boost of energy to boot! Can it really do all of that for a reasonable price? For $50 it better really get the job done.

As it contains caffeine, may cause some nervousness for those sensitive to it. As well, concern has been raised as to the possible correlation between conjugated linoleic acid and heart disease with long-term use.

Lipitrex Ingredient Highlights

The ingredients that are included in significant quantities include

Conjugated linoleic acid CLA (1500 mg) – A fatty acid and antioxidant that in some studies has helped to reduce body fat in humans.

Pinolenic Acid (240 mg) – A fatty acid that comes from the Korean pine nut. Some research shows it can be an effective appetite suppressant.

Green Tea Extract (100 mg) -a great source of antioxidants and especially effective at boosting metabolism when combined with caffeine.

Citrus Aurantium (100 mg) – a natural source of synephrine – a safe and effective alternative to ephedrine.

Other ingredients include coleus forskohlii, which may help reduce fat and build lean muscle tissue, and caffeine which is an extra stimulant to boost metabolism.

These are good ingredients, if a little weak on research in some areas (CLA). It is unclear how much synephrine is in this product as concentrations vary in different citrus aurantium extracts.

Is Lipitrex Worth Trying?

The ingredient concentrations appear to be a little low and do not seem to justify the $50 price tag that this product claims. The research on these ingredients is also somewhat inconclusive, so I would consider trying Lipitrex a bit of a risk. I wouldn’t recommend it as there are more reliable products out there.
