This product contains a massive amount of caffeine, which even for the tolerant may cause some sleeplessness and jitters. It also uses pork gelatin for its capsules, which may cause some digestive problems.
HydroxyCut Max Ingredient Highlights
The “key” ingredient in this product burner, cissus quadrangularis, was actually found to be fairly effective at helping in weight loss in a study. This study was, however, done in Cameroon (a poor country in Africa) where standards regulating scientific research are much lower. As well, HydroxyCut max does not disclose whether the necessary 300 mg of this ingredient are included.
The rest of the ingredients here, which are many, are largely dominated by the 300 mg of caffeine (a TON of caffeine) and green tea. These are good ingredients for weight loss, but as the rest of the ingredients are included in “proprietary blends”, it is impossible to really tell what kind of effect you will get from each of the other ones.
Is HydroxyCut Max Worth Trying?
As the research behind the key ingredient is a little sketchy, to say the least, I am hesitant to recommend you try HydroxyCut Max. The truth is the ingredients are NOT really “specifically for women” but rather that claim is a marketing tool. At $45, the product doesn’t necessarily overstep its bounds as it contains a number of other ingredients (in undisclosed amounts). This is not a terrible formula, just a little shaky on the research.
