Hoodia Chaser, quite clearly another hoodia gordonii product, is a bottle of drops containing concentrated hoodia extract. It is meant to be added to a glass of water taken before your meals in order to reduce appetite. Does this stuff actually make a difference?

Essentially, this is an extremely concentrated formula of hoodia gordonii extract. My concerns with this product are two-fold.
- Dilution – This product may be extremely concentrated, but expecting only a few drops in some water to make a difference is a bit silly. There is no way that a “few drops” of this could be more effective than any other hoodia product, especially since many other products contain ingredients in addition to hoodia.
- Hoodia- That’s right, I’m concerned about hoodia. Though it was actually featured on 60 Minutes, to date there have been no peer-reviewed clinical studies done that prove its effectiveness at suppressing appetite. It is also well known that the vast majority of hoodia products are actually fake and do not contain real hoodia even when they include “genuine seals”.
Is Hoodia Chaser Worth Trying?
There are some positive testimonials from the website, but many don’t even say how much weight was lost, possibly because no real weight was lost. At $40 it is overpriced. This product may suppress your appetite some (though research is not united in this suggestion), but if you expect that using this product alone will help you lose weight, you are crazy.
