Some Quick Information On This Product

Meal replacement shakes are no new concept when it comes to dieting. In fact Diet Now isn’t really introducing anything new to the market with this shake, it’s actually just another drop in the ocean of meal replacement weight loss shakes. Meal replacement shakes work by reducing your overall daily caloric intake – it doesn’t take a genius to realise that if you’re only consuming three 200 calorie shakes per day you’re going to naturally lose weight.

What are DietNow Shakes? Simply put they’re cleverly branded protein shakes with added vitamins and minerals – yep that’s right, just like the bodybuilders all drink. It’s literally just a milkshake you drink instead of eating a regular meal, there’s no groundbreaking science involved.. just a well branded protein shake.

There is no real innovation to this product – it does not contain any ingredients that will speed up your metabolism, or any ingredients that will help suppress your appetite. Users of the DietNow Shakes will probably find themselves in a battle against hunger (liquid diets tend not to be filling, who’d have thought?) and feeling very low energy.

Are DietNow Shakes A Good Product To Help Me Lose Weight?

We do not believe this product is the best weight loss shake you can use to lose weight. Our DietNow review team have stated that users will probably see a “yo-yo” effect while they use these shakes – they’ll lose weight in the beginning, but when they stop the shakes and go back to normal food the weight comes back pretty quickly.

If you have an iron will and can 100% stick to drinking three liquid protein shakes per day, then sure, you’ll lose weight with this product.. but if massive calorie-reduction is what you’re going for you can literally just eat less food to achieve the same results. There’s really no great need to have a shake for your meals.

What Are The DietNow Shakes Ingredients?

The ingredients are as follows:

Protein blend (skim MILK, MILK protein); cocoa powder (soy) (11.8%); fructose; vegetable fat preparation (refined soybean oil (SOY) and refined palm oil; glucose syrup; MILK protein; stabilizer: pentasodium triphosphate; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; flavor); acidity regulators: sodium citrate, potassium chloride, magnesium oxide; oligofructose (chicory root extract); flavours (MILK); vitamin and mineral mix (vitamin A as acetate, cholecalciferol, tocopherol acetate, ascorbic acid, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, biotin, folic acid, cyanocobalamin, ferric pyrophosphate, zinc oxide, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, potassium citrate, manganese sulphate, copper gluconate); thickeners: carrageenan, guar gum; emulsifier: SOY lecithin; sweetener: aspartame (contains phenylalanine); anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide

For allergens – see ingredients CAPITALISED.

What Are The DietNow Shakes Side Effects?

While you shouldn’t really see any side effects while using this product, people with lactose intolerances may experience discomfort from these shakes. Below are a list of possible side effects to protein powder.

“High doses [of protein powder] can cause some side effects such as increased bowel movements, nausea, thirst, bloating, cramps, reduced appetite, tiredness (fatigue), and headache.” – WebMD

What does DietNow Shakes claim to do?

The manufacturers make the claim that “the shakes can put you on your way to rapid weight loss”, while quickly making a tiny disclaimer that states “Weight loss results may vary and are different for each individual.”

While this claim is all well and good it doesn’t exactly paint a clear picture of how much willpower will be required to lose weight with the shakes. We would also dispute the rapid part, as this product does not boost metabolism at all, meaning users wouldn’t experience any faster weight loss than they would from naturally consuming less food.

Are There Any Reviews From Customers?

We have found the following DietNow review testimonials on Amazon:

By Natasha on 16 Jan. 2017
Flavour Name: Banana Verified Purchase
The taste is awful, I have used other shakes that consistency and taste are much better. This is defo a situation of you get what you pay for. I had to bin the lot as I couldn’t even given them away (40 packs)

By Jason Gregory on 18 Mar. 2017
Flavour Name: Banana
Worst product ever bought diet wise does not fill me up and have not lost 1 lb on it

Where Can I Buy This Product?

This product is available from the manufacturers homepage as well as amazon.

Our Conclusion.

To conclude our DietNow review, this is certainly not the most innovative weight loss shake we’ve ever seen. In fact it’s just a protein shake. We’ve seen many other weight loss shakes with sophisticated fat burning formulas inside – this product doesn’t really stand a chance against them.

If you’re willing to stick to consuming nothing but the three shakes per day, then you’ll surely lose weight – but you may find it comes back right after you stop the shakes and return to hard food.
