   Be very careful when you order the FREE trials. If you don’t cancel within 14 days you will be charged anywhere from 39.95 to more for products that you may or maynot recieve.    This “free trial”is a scam to get your credit card number and give it to other companies. I don’t appreciate being ripped off. This product doesn’t even work. Acai burn is just making it’s spokes person look bad.    In regards to the ACAI berry. I tried it along with a somewhat more conservative diet for about two months. Absolutely nothing! I have heart disease which prevents me from excercise that most people would consider normal and, unfortunately, my excercise is pretty much limited to walking. It is difficult for me to really burn calories the way I used to be able to. I guess I was looking for an easier way to lose weight and the ACAI didn’t do it. Too bad.

   I received promotional literature about AdvancedAcai, supposedly a \”super\” vitamin C source, and decided to try it. I took the 14 day trial offer (this offer didn\”t make much sense, as the literature says to expect results in 30 days). This set off a warning bell, but when I called the company after 12 days and I explained that there had been no results, they extended the trial period out to 30 days. At 23 days there was still no effect, so I decided to see what was wrong. Reading the label, I see that the only primary ingredient with a listed dose amount is Chromium! There is about as much vit C as caffeine, these are the last 2 ingredients listed. To call these pills ACAI is at best a joke, in reality a deception/scam. Even if it is intended for weight loss, there are gobs of REASONABLE cost sources of Chrominm and caffeine available. Finally, I have experienced NO WEIGHT LOSS, even if such had been intended. THIS STUFF IS JUST A RIP-OFF!

    There is increasing scientific evidence to the benefits of the acai berry. It appears that it is loaded with beneficial components like antioxidants at concentrations that far outweigh other antioxidants if the fruit is freeze-dried fast enough after picking. That much is true. However, loosing weight is incredibly difficult and the idea that a little supplement that is all natural and without any harmful side effects can produce miraculous weight loss results, is something that most of us desperately want to believe. Acai berry is a fantastic supplement for the properties that it has but it is far more likely to become a household name and generalised craze, at the same time making a significantly higher profit for those that market it, if instead of being heralded as a great antioxidant they actually call it a diet aid, a new revolutionary weight loss program. Incidentally, I haven’t found any evidence in the scientific literature to the weight-loss promoting property of the acai berry. We simply must stop being naive and believe claims that one can loose more than 12 pounds in a week. Actually, loosing weight this fast would even be harmful. To obtain supplements from anywhere else but the most reputable source is always a gamble as supplements are not classed as drugs and are not subject to compulsory Drug Safety tests. Having taken acai berry for 10 days, I too failed to lose an ounce and I am still waiting for the surge of energy acai berry supposed to have given me according to the claims. So I have decided to accept acai berry for what it is, a superb antioxidant, nothing more.

    I too have been “duped” by the Acai Berry “Free Trial” offer. I did not read the “order acknowledgement” right to the end – who does – and I ended up with a charge on my credit card account for £79. Luckily I noticed the charge and did not recognise what it was for so I questioned it with my card provided. This card has now been cancelled and I am trying for a refund. Wish me luck. By the way I have received no more tablets as yet and so have paid out £79 for a “Free Trial”.

    Just got off the phone cancelling all the “RISK FREE” trial offer orders I placed for my wife and I. As best I can tell after receiving the orders and totaling the cost of this product, it would cost my wife and I approximately $500/month to continue with the products we received, some of which I didn’t even order, and were sent against my protest not to send it to me. I had to call 4 different numbers to cancel the product which were sent from 4 different locations. Ok, it’s my fault! I didn’t do my homework and dig deeper into what I now consider to be a “BIG SCAM”. My wife has been on the product for 6 days and no results as of yet. Now I have ship some of this product back at my expense. Isn’t that just special! The website advertising this product used a video from CNN. I would think they would have some concern over their reputation as a news site that can be TRUSTED.

    Hi if anyone reads this and wants to order the free trials of acai berry, but doesn’t want to get billed other charges. I have found if you use a pre paid c/c (you can buy them at most grocery stores at the check out) then just throw it away the company can only charge that card once.

    I didn’t hear about this from Oprah or any celebrities. I came across it by accident as a testimony from a stay at home mom in my city. She mixed two pills together, which by themselves didn’t do anything for her. She got both pills as free samples. They are Power Flush 500 and Acai x 3.     i ordered the 14 day trial; kept it two days and sent it back. called the toll free number and told them i was shocked at what i had heard and what they did to my daughter’s bank account. i told them i had already talked to my credit card company and informed them of the fraud. they said they took me off of their list. i then sent them a letter and told them they would not be getting another dime from me but maybe a letter from my lawyer will do the trick. never believe anything you read on free trials. cost my daughter over $300.

    Hi I read the acaiburn page and thought it was too good to be true a free trial with no catches!! I thought this is great must try it so I filled in all my details it said I would have to pay $4.99 for shipping so I thought to myself reasonable enough only to check my card the next day they had taken $59.99 off me which is £40.00 roughly and when I sent them an email yhey denied everything and said no money was taken im sooo angry have lost out on money and they obviously dont work by the 100s of reviews I read after I ordered I feel so silly for beleiving crap!!!!!!     I have been on the Acai 100 pure juice since Mar 1,2009. I have found that my energy has increased, my blood pressure is way down, my blood sugar is way down, my cholesterol is way down…….and I have lost 46 lbs in 10 weeks!!!!!     Be aware of the free trials. They are not free they are designed to charge you monthly fees and the product is not pure – it has additives. Acai Berry is an antioxidant super food. If you loose weight on it then you are a lucky one. But to loose weight you have to do more than drink some juice or take a pill.     I, too, have been duped by this bogus company. Ordered the “free” supply for which I did receive. On the same credit card statement for which I was charged the shipping, I was also charged $88 for a new supply which I have yet to receive! I called to express the fact I only wanted the sample bottle and they informed me I hadn’t cancelled within 30 days so therefore they could not refund my $88. I informed them I never received the bottle they charged me for, so they were going to resend the 2nd one. This has all been 2 months ago. After calling this a.m., I demanded a refund as I’ve paid $88 for absolutely nothing. No results.     I have just been looking over all of the reviews. I am trying to lose only 15 lbs. but now that I have hit 30 it seems harder than before. It looks as if different people have different experiences, the best seems to come from the juice. I think the pill takes a lot out of the berry or something of that sort.     I ordered the free trial, NEVER saw anything about cancelling anything. As far as I knew, there was nothing to cancel. They do not tell you that they unlawfully commit you to receiving future products and consequently begin billing your credit card.     I have just finished my “FREE???” trial bottle of acaiburn and have only lost 2kg (about 5lb) in 4 weeks. I do have increased energy which means I could do some exercise and I am eating a lot less but it cost me $120 Australian Dollars. I went to their web site and there was a chat corner which I used to cancel my interest.     This is a total fraud operation run out of hollywood Florida that the attorney generals office needs to clean up.AcaiX3 -(AKA) Rainforrestberry is what my credit card was charged under needs to get shut down.I called the company to cancel 10 minutes after ordering and I finally got a response 17 days later.You will spend hours on the phone waiting for a customer service agent to even answer the phone and when they do they will refuse to transfer to a manager and also say they can’t even find an account number even if you give them that information. I printed mine out when I ordered the product. I had to cancel my credit card in order to stop them.     I looked at a lot of the Acai websites and was suspicious of those ‘free trial’ ones.
    I found one in the UK that you can print out an order form from. I was happier to risk losing £20 from one postal order than risk having money taken out of my account each month etc.
    I sent the postal order Sat 13/6/09 and my Acai berry pills arrived today 16/6/09. I was very impressed with the speed of delivery and I’m hoping that the pills are as impressive.

    I too was scammed by acaiX3. I did not see teh fine print which obligated me for future shipments charged to my credit card. Have taken the product for one month and have not lost nay weight. this is phony! I received a cancellation number and hope that they will not bill mein the future.     Like everyone else, I too got scammed by AcaiBurn. I didn’t receive the first or second shipment, then finally got the third after a few hundred dollars was charged to my credit card listed under a variety of different names. When I questioned this they told me I hadn’t read the small print….!!! I eventually pushed the point and got AUD$78 back, however this left me well and truly out of pocket.     I went on two sites, one offered a free trial, but you had to cancel within the 15 day trial which i did as i read the small print before purchasing.
    The other website said they will refund UNOPENED product if you send it back, so right there you are at a loss because you have to pay postage twice, once to get the stuff and once to send it back.
    I used mine for two weeks and nothing noticable, i am just going to buy the acai berry capsules in holland and barrett as they do them for £14.99, without the hassle of internet companies sending the products and billing you when you dont want to pay £79 for a bottle that costs £14.99 at holland and barrett.(im in the UK)

    I would not advise anyone to buy this product. Acai burn is a fraudulent company and you will be charged monthly for the free trial even if you cancel the order by phone or by post.     About 12 months ago, I started to change my diet. I cut down 80% on beer, cut my fat and cut my carbs. I did very little exercise besides the usual walk around work or shopping but no gym work. I lost about 4 kilos (8 pounds) over about 4 months. I gave up and went back to square one. Discovered Acai berry (freeze dried from an decent UK supplier) and repeated my earlier regime. After about a month the Acai kicked in but I knew it would take this long at least as I’d done my research. I’ve now lost 10 kilos (22 pounds or 1 stone 8 pounds) and all with NO exercise other than a few stomach crunches now and again. The bottom line is that you WILL get the benefit of Acai berry if you work with it. It’s not a miracle cure for obesity or a bad or ‘lazy’ diet. Work with it and it will work for you. The most disheartening thing about dieting is when you really try hard and be strict with yourself and get no results. In my personal experience Acai berry will reward you for your efforts! As I said, give it a month to get in your system, be sensible and then judge it. From my previous experience, I know that it’s not a ‘placebo’ drug that’s all in the mind. Just make sure you get the proper freeze dried Acai from a reputable dealer. I’m now about to take up gym membership to really accelerate my improvements to my health and physique.

The one thing that has bothered me though is that I have had a tightness in my throat since taking this product.     I just got off the phone w/Andy 8-161 customer service objecting to 3 charges related to the product. I haven’t even received the free trial offer and they are billing me 89.00 for a months supply after I told the girl who called I wouldn’t be interested in more as I hadn’t rec’vd the trail offer as yet After a big hassel I told Andy that I would persue this to the max as a fraudulent business and that I would instruct my bank to charge back the charge to them. First he said he could see why I didn’t rec’v the trail offer as they didn’t have my complete adress the #’s were missing…a few minutes later he said the 89.00 order had shipped already and he couldn’t cancel it – I said how could it have shipped if they didn’t have the complete address for the trail offer?? He said they were expecting the post office to find me – I replied why had theynot done that w/the first order? He did a lot of sputtering and kept saying the same thing over and over. I reall y wanted to send this to the Acai order dept. but cannot find a way to contact them. THEY ARD DEFINATELY A RIP OFF COMPANY AND ARE USED TO HAVING THSES COMPLAINTS. I told him I hated being taken advantage of and that I will persue this as fruad if it costs me my last cent!!     So I thought I would try the acai berry…NEver had many health problems other than cysts on my ovaries. No biggie. Had it taken care of. Other than that I have no problems such as heart of anything like that. STarted taking the acai berry about 3 weeks ago. Didn’t see any results. In fact saw weight gain. Keep in mind those pills were the color purple. Well they were my dads that he bought from the store. I took those while I was waiting on my “FREE trial.” When I got the bottle the pills were red. SAme bottle as the one before and same ingredients. 2 different colors? WEIRD!! then I go to my bank account and there is a 39 dollar charge and an 87 dollar charge. CAlled the 800 number and couldn’t get through. Ended up freezing my debit card and getting a new one to stop them from taking payments out. Had to go on the website myordersupport.com. Cussed out the person I was talking to and got my stuff cancelled. I was extremely upset. I live on my own with the rent of $667. Thats a lot for one person and doesn’t include any other bills.     Acai berrys do work. In Australia here we can only buy the juice. I have tried that and it is good.

    But then I brought the ‘free trial’ ones on the net. The Acai berries & the colon cleanser. I brought two of each – one for myself and one for my hubby. Only received one pack. Was checking my credit card statement today, and noticed amounts of AU$138.22 coming out of my account – a few of them!! Rang my bank, and the first thing he asked was ‘have you brought any Acai berry tablets on the net lately”!!! So I have had to cancel my credit card – what a pain!!! But luckily I will get all my money back – we have good banks!!

    So just a warning, Acai berries do work, just don’t buy them over the net. Especially from anyone offering a ‘free trial’. Go to your local health food store.

    Ok, this is what I did to avoid any possible hassles of unwanted charges for this product. I had ordered this stuff this morning, however after reading all these reviews, I freaked and decided I better do something about it NOW. I tried those numbers listed above just a couple times, and couldn’t get through. So, THIS is what I did….I just went on ahead and contacted my bank account through an online chat agent; asked them how I could go ahead and cancel future unwanted payments from this/these companies. I did NOT want ANY CHANCE in possibly being charged and ripped off like so many others have been. He told me that I didn’t need to cancel my card and get a new one; however he could just put a stop-payment on the product, to where they had no chance to charge me in the future. So, all I had to do was provide the merchant’s name that the charge was placed under and the date it was charged for the “free trial” product. So, now I can rest at ease that I won’t be charged any further. The charge of the free trial was posted to my account however was still pending. They couldn’t put a stop-payment on a pending charge. Still not sure if I will be charged for the free trial, but even if I am, I don’t care. It’s a very little ammount and it beats the chance in being robbed future unauthorized payments being deducted from my account monthly. So, if you’re having any hassels cancelling your purchase of the product, just go through your bank. Hell, I went there first before trying to take the chance in cancelling it and getting nowhere with it. I go through Bank of America and like I said, all they had to do was put a stop-payment on it without me replacing my card. I haven’t even recieved my “free trial”, but could care less now about trying it just because of all these reviews I’ve read.     I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry capsules and found that they gave me a lot of energy, however I had to cut my dosage down to 1 tablet per day as I was feeling dizzy and jittery on them – I am guessing the caffeine?? Anyways my boredom eating ceased and I did lose some weight as it gave me the burst of energy to want to get up and do something. I liked them and I have noticed a difference not taking them.     I have been taking the Acai Berry Supplement for 2 weeks. I think a lot of people are expecting to take the pill and forget to excercise and eat properly. You cannot Just take this pill and eat whatever you want and expect the weight to still come off. If you take this pill, Eat a proper diet, and work out for atleast 30 mintues a day ( not just walking) then you will see tremendous results. I take this supplement, I stick to a 1200 calorie a day diet, I load up on fruits vegatables and LEAN meats and I drink atleast a gallon of water a day ( WATER IS THE KEY) and I have lost almost 15lbs in 2 weeks halfway to my goal. You have to remember the pills arent merely going to work by themselves they merely give you an extra boost or a jump start if you want to call it that, you yourself have to put in the effort of working our and eating right.

     I also ordered the free trial, paid the shipping, then discovered upon reading farther that it was a free trial 10 day trial from the date of PURCHASE whether you received your supplements or not. If you didn’t cancel your order before the 10 days were over they charge your credit card for the next shipment. Trying to find a number to cancel was almost impossible especially as it was day 9 and I still didn’t have the order. I finally found their number after scrolling down to the bottom of the privacy policy and finding another link to customer service. They gave me a bit of the run around, but I was adamant and even called back again later in the afternoon to confirm with a different agent that the account was closed.      Yes I also fell into the trap and sent the requeted p.& p. but luckily I was contacted by my Bank the following morning after they spotted a transaction on my account in Cyprus. I had luckily made several transactions in my Bank the previous day and therefor they picked it up straight away and accordingly cancelled my Bank Card immediately and refunded me the £60 that had been withdrawn.

     So Ive been taking the Acai berry pill daily 15 minutes before meals as said to do. And if anything at all has changed with me, I feel lethargic, my stomach (and other body parts) have gotten bigger, and I feel like I just cant eat enough. I didnt have these problems before starting the Acai diet pills. Yes, it will help you go to the bathroom and very well, but that is the only good it does. I was wearing a size 11 about 3weeks ago and my pants fit perfectly. Now, they are too tight. In just barely over 2weeks, Ive gained weight. Dont waste your money on this. Thank God it was an early birthday present and i didnt buy it, but it was wasted money that my mom spent.

     I ordered the free trail and canceled my card the same day, because I fell for a free trail scam before. I took the pills and after about a day I started to experience stomach pains. After reading all the bad reviews on this site I got kinda worried and stopped taking them. It took about two days and the pain went away.

     saw the ad saying it was going to be £5 so i ordered thinking what have i got to loose. i lost 112 pounds not in weight but in money
     by clicking the t&c’s i entered into a contract which states i would be charged £37 per item, 3 items came in the pack thus £112.50 needless to say i am VERY p**t off and cant get my money back and to top it all off a havent lost any weight
     dont get scammed like i did exercise and eat healthy and the weight will come off naturally

     Just been reading the reviews on here… what makes me laugh is the fact ‘disappointed’ people are only writing about there scam with acai berry. this is a product review not how u got them! yes there are some scams out there through getting these but if u actually get them from a proper sellers site then you wont get scammed! simple as! ive heard lots of fantasic reviews on this product and im very impressed so have ordered some today also with the colon cleanser , as a pair they have been proven to work faster even though acai berry on its own is good enough! you wont loose weight over night and people think just taking these without healthy eating and exercise is gonna work! you need to put the effort in aswell! anyway hope this helps! id say go for it and try it out!

     haylhen1 – Jun 01, 2011 10:36PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM PRO ACTION ACAI AND CLEANSE. i did yesturday and I deeply regret doing it, I was on facebook and an add popped up saying Britney had lost so much weight and been curious I clicked onto it and it took me to the UKS Womans Health Magaziine and a report in which that magazine had issued and that gave me the security to order the product, I thought it must be ok as womans health are advertising it !!!!! 14 DAY FREE TRIAL AND IT IS A SCAM I ordered both the products paying 2 shipping fees of £2.49 and I thought that was that and I would try the product and then decide after if I would continue, I don’t know what made me search the company after I placed the order a little backward I ask myself, I immediatley felt SHOCK HORROR as you are sent a 30 day supply meaning you owe them for the extra tablets and you are signing into a contract with them where they take funds out the account every month at this stage I am like OMG I USED MY DADS CARD, I was told to go to the scam webpage and scroll down and right at the bottom of the page in tiny letters it says TERMS AND THEY ARE NOT SHY ABOUT THEIR TERMS they admit to having you over a barrell and that you are in a contract, apparantly the 14 day trial period starts from the day the order was origionally placed and you just ring the company or email them to cancel MMMM would you trust them, I read alot of scarey reviews where people had cancelled and had huge amounts taken from their accounts all different amounts from £75 to £330, I telephoned my dads bank and reported the card lost as I only gave them the 12 digit long card number, the exp date and the 3 digit from the back of the card, I didnt even give my dads name and address and it should of rang alarm bells when they didnt require it. I rang the bank and reported the card Lost/Stolen, Then I read other peoples reviews saying it did no good they still get to take money as they do it via recurring repayment, I thought that cant be right and have had to wait until this morning to ring HSBC bank back and the friendly guy said REPORTING THE CARD LOST/STOLEN WILL STOP ANYONE TAKING A PAYMENT ON THAT CARD, THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SAYING CANCELLING THE CARD DOES NOT STOP THEM TAKING MONIES MUST NOT HAVE REPORTED THE CARD LOST/STOLEN BUT JUST REQUESTED A NEW ONE WHICH MEANS THAT A NEW CARD WITH THE SAME DETAILS WILL BE ISSUED MEANING THAT PRO ACTION OR WHOEVER CAN TAKE MONIES WHENEVER AS THEY HAVE THOSE DETAILS BUT IF YOU REPORT IT LOST/STOLEN YOU ARE GIVEN A WHOLE NEW BANK CARD. I hope that information is correct as I was up until 3am panicking as my poor dad has been with HSBC/Midland bank for 45 yrs and people were saying they had to close their bank accounts as the banks wont get involved as its between you and the company, but thankfully HSBC SAY REPORTING THE CARD ;LOST/STOLEN DOES INDEED WORK.

     I like a lot of you were conned into thinking the tablets i would be given were actually acai. I ordered 2 lots one for me and my partner on the (free trial 4.95pp deal) Thought ok and only when i read the terms and conditions after ordering my partners did i realsise the clause! my fault i should have read it! Although i still dont agree with the trial (trial for 30days but if not happy in 14 then send them back), well its not a fair trial is it then!
     Anyhow i thought bloody hell i better get on and cancel straight away as i tried the internet site as advertised with it turning out to be a phishing site so abandoned. Rung the 0800 number and although did wait 20min was very surprised to speak to a nice gentleman who i thought was very helpful although was probably thinking what an idiot i was falling for it.
     Anyway as he went on i said i hadnt even received the products yet but was assuming as had ordered over the wkend they would come that day or the next couple. He agreed and was very pleasant and sent me my cancellation email confirmation while i was on the line so i could check it went through and needn’t ring again.
     I told him i would be taking half the tablets out as it would have been past a wk since i ordered and received the products and that as i had paid for 14 days of them then that was what i would take out of each bottle. He informed me as long as there was 50% left in the bottles that will be fine and that you can wait until 21 days to return them but i thought im not getting caught out that way either.
     He also informed me if they didn’t turn up by the following wed to send an email to them directly, i thought it was the same one advertised and informed him that was a waste of time, he informed me it should be ok and they normally get back in a couple of days. I shall leave the address and phone number on the bottom.
     Anyhow cut the long story short!
     i was only charged my 4.99 shipping fee.
     My tablets did actually arrive on the tue so was 3days after ordering.
     I sent them back after taking half of them out.
     Am waiting to see any results if anything feel im getting bigger, im certainly not losing any! (only wanted to lose a stone and a bit before my holiday!)
     If anything the colon cleanse has almost bunged me up!
     Have cancelled my card now anyway as read reports of money taken anyway even after cancelling.

     All in all a complete waste of time but just glad i only lost £20 instead of the amounts others have been charged! Still annoyed but count that as a lesson to be learnt.

     The guy i spoke too was very helpful and i cant fault him.

     Hope this helps some of you but dont be surprised if you get nowhere as they sound as though they truely know how to scam people and although the guy was nice on the phone he may well have also been full of bullshit who knows but i didnt wait to find out and cancelled the card! (Report as lost/stolen)
     Just wish i hadnt paid the postage almost £5 recorded to send the rubbish back to them. Now i cancelled the card i should have just kept the lot as they couldnt do anything once you cancelled card anyway so thats what i would suggest if someone has just ordered.
     Cancel the card once the stuff arrived and enjoy the crap they have sent you!

     Also i didn’t like the fact you pay 2 lots of postage for 2 products yet they send it all in one envelope! Talk about take the mick!

     I was ripped off by the ‘free trial’ scam for ProActionAcai tablets. Please note these tablets made me ill. do not buy these – do some reseach first and check the complaints board – there are a lot on there for this company. They took £110 from my account before the trial was complete and they refuse to refund. When I have rang to discuss they just put the phone down on you.      I guess I did the wisest thing as usual– to check reviews from real people who may have used. I call it real life experiences than to believe in people on the net. I just wanted to see where the trial form takes me to so (smartypants) I filled in all useless, false things on the form and clicked the order button. Viola! Then I see they want my card details. Clever me just closed the window. Serves you right you pathetic scammers!

     I saw that Rachel Ray reccommended the combination of the two and instead of ordering from the scam site, i went to cvs and baught a colon cleanser and Natrol Acai berry 5 it has green tea in it as well.. we will see how it goes, it was only 30$ so either way its better than the scam lol

     This company has a hidden clause and if you do not send back
     the free trial unopened you will be charged . As if you do not cancel in allowed time you will have money stolen from your account. Stay away from Lean slim ultra products.      Why dont people try using the acia berries as you are supposed to. Maybe try exercise and at least give it a bit more than 2 days or 2 weeks. This isn’t a miracle worker its meant to help! I have just bought them and i’m going to give them a go along with the acia cleanse. I will b sure to give it time. Why not try using a trusted site also as internet is not the safest place. Amazon etc
