  2. Be very careful when you order the FREE trials. If you don’t cancel within 14 days you will be charged anywhere from 39.95 to more for products that you may or maynot recieve. I have tried some of the trials and so far have NOT had any success. I am willing to continue the rest of the trial products I ordered and will post when they have been completed.

  4. This “free trial”is a scam to get your credit card number and give it to other companies. I don’t appreciate being ripped off. This product doesn’t even work. Acai burn is just making it’s spokes person look bad. If I were Oprah I would speek up for my fans who got scammed by this company instead of taking money from the company that’s just rippin off good people out of their hard earned cash!

  6. In regards to the ACAI berry. I tried it along with a somewhat more conservative diet for about two months. Absolutely nothing! I have heart disease which prevents me from excercise that most people would consider normal and, unfortunately, my excercise is pretty much limited to walking. It is difficult for me to really burn calories the way I used to be able to. I guess I was looking for an easier way to lose weight and the ACAI didn’t do it. Too bad.

  7. I received promotional literature about AdvancedAcai, supposedly a \’’super\” vitamin C source, and decided to try it. I took the 14 day trial offer (this offer didn\”t make much sense, as the literature says to expect results in 30 days). This set off a warning bell, but when I called the company after 12 days and I explained that there had been no results, they extended the trial period out to 30 days. At 23 days there was still no effect, so I decided to see what was wrong. Reading the label, I see that the only primary ingredient with a listed dose amount is Chromium! There is about as much vit C as caffeine, these are the last 2 ingredients listed. To call these pills ACAI is at best a joke, in reality a deception/scam. Even if it is intended for weight loss, there are gobs of REASONABLE cost sources of Chrominm and caffeine available. Finally, I have experienced NO WEIGHT LOSS, even if such had been intended. THIS STUFF IS JUST A RIP-OFF!

  10. There is increasing scientific evidence to the benefits of the acai berry. It appears that it is loaded with beneficial components like antioxidants at concentrations that far outweigh other antioxidants if the fruit is freeze-dried fast enough after picking. That much is true. However, loosing weight is incredibly difficult and the idea that a little supplement that is all natural and without any harmful side effects can produce miraculous weight loss results, is something that most of us desperately want to believe. Acai berry is a fantastic supplement for the properties that it has but it is far more likely to become a household name and generalised craze, at the same time making a significantly higher profit for those that market it, if instead of being heralded as a great antioxidant they actually call it a diet aid, a new revolutionary weight loss program. Incidentally, I haven’t found any evidence in the scientific literature to the weight-loss promoting property of the acai berry. We simply must stop being naive and believe claims that one can loose more than 12 pounds in a week. Actually, loosing weight this fast would even be harmful. To obtain supplements from anywhere else but the most reputable source is always a gamble as supplements are not classed as drugs and are not subject to compulsory Drug Safety tests. Having taken acai berry for 10 days, I too failed to lose an ounce and I am still waiting for the surge of energy acai berry supposed to have given me according to the claims. So I have decided to accept acai berry for what it is, a superb antioxidant, nothing more.

  12. I too have been “duped” by the Acai Berry “Free Trial” offer. I did not read the “order acknowledgement” right to the end - who does - and I ended up with a charge on my credit card account for £79. Luckily I noticed the charge and did not recognise what it was for so I questioned it with my card provided. This card has now been cancelled and I am trying for a refund. Wish me luck. By the way I have received no more tablets as yet and so have paid out £79 for a “Free Trial”.

  13. Just got off the phone cancelling all the “RISK FREE” trial offer orders I placed for my wife and I. As best I can tell after receiving the orders and totaling the cost of this product, it would cost my wife and I approximately $500/month to continue with the products we received, some of which I didn’t even order, and were sent against my protest not to send it to me. I had to call 4 different numbers to cancel the product which were sent from 4 different locations. Ok, it’s my fault! I didn’t do my homework and dig deeper into what I now consider to be a “BIG SCAM”. My wife has been on the product for 6 days and no results as of yet. Now I have ship some of this product back at my expense. Isn’t that just special! The website advertising this product used a video from CNN. I would think they would have some concern over their reputation as a news site that can be TRUSTED.

  15. I didn’t hear about this from Oprah or any celebrities. I came across it by accident as a testimony from a stay at home mom in my city. She mixed two pills together, which by themselves didn’t do anything for her. She got both pills as free samples. They are Power Flush 500 and Acai x 3.   16. i ordered the 14 day trial; kept it two days and sent it back. called the toll free number and told them i was shocked at what i had heard and what they did to my daughter’s bank account. i told them i had already talked to my credit card company and informed them of the fraud. they said they took me off of their list. i then sent them a letter and told them they would not be getting another dime from me but maybe a letter from my lawyer will do the trick. never believe anything you read on free trials. cost my daughter over $300.

I thought this is great must try it so I filled in all my details it said I would have to pay $4.99 for shipping so I thought to myself reasonable enough only to check my card the next day they had taken $59.99 off me which is £40.00 roughly and when I sent them an email yhey denied everything and said no money was taken im sooo angry have lost out on money and they obviously dont work by the 100s of reviews I read after I ordered I feel so silly for beleiving crap!!!!!!   25. Be aware of the free trials. They are not free they are designed to charge you monthly fees and the product is not pure - it has additives. Acai Berry is an antioxidant super food. If you loose weight on it then you are a lucky one. But to loose weight you have to do more than drink some juice or take a pill. You do not need to order this juice - you can get it from a health food store.

On the same credit card statement for which I was charged the shipping, I was also charged $88 for a new supply which I have yet to receive! I called to express the fact I only wanted the sample bottle and they informed me I hadn’t cancelled within 30 days so therefore they could not refund my $88. I informed them I never received the bottle they charged me for, so they were going to resend the 2nd one. This has all been 2 months ago. After calling this a.m., I demanded a refund as I’ve paid $88 for absolutely nothing. No results. I wish I knew where to go further, but the gal refused to connect me with anyone else there.

  30. I have just been looking over all of the reviews. I am trying to lose only 15 lbs. but now that I have hit 30 it seems harder than before. It looks as if different people have different experiences, the best seems to come from the juice. I think the pill takes a lot out of the berry or something of that sort. The Acai Resolution, which is a little different than the Acai 3 is suppose to be really good but I think I will leave it alone….

They do not tell you that they unlawfully commit you to receiving future products and consequently begin billing your credit card. I now have one charge of over 79.00 and a second charge of around 80.00. My cardit card company is not doing much to help. NEVER AGAIN ACCEPT A FREE TRIAL OF ANYTHING ON THE INTERNET.

  41. I have just finished my “FREE???” trial bottle of acaiburn and have only lost 2kg (about 5lb) in 4 weeks. I do have increased energy which means I could do some exercise and I am eating a lot less but it cost me $120 Australian Dollars. I went to their web site and there was a chat corner which I used to cancel my interest. This is a total fraud operation run out of hollywood Florida that the attorney generals office needs to clean up.AcaiX3 -(AKA) Rainforrestberry is what my credit card was charged under needs to get shut down.I called the company to cancel 10 minutes after ordering and I finally got a response 17 days later.You will spend hours on the phone waiting for a customer service agent to even answer the phone and when they do they will refuse to transfer to a manager and also say they can’t even find an account number even if you give them that information. I printed mine out when I ordered the product. I had to cancel my credit card in order to stop them. Don’t let your bank open another credit card as my credit card company told me AcaiX3 or Rainforrestberry will try and get the charges thru on a new card.

  44. I looked at a lot of the Acai websites and was suspicious of those ‘free trial’ ones.
    I found one in the UK that you can print out an order form from. I was happier to risk losing £20 from one postal order than risk having money taken out of my account each month etc.
    I sent the postal order Sat 13/6/09 and my Acai berry pills arrived today 16/6/09. I was very impressed with the speed of delivery and I’m hoping that the pills are as impressive.

I didn’t receive the first or second shipment, then finally got the third after a few hundred dollars was charged to my credit card listed under a variety of different names. When I questioned this they told me I hadn’t read the small print….!!! I eventually pushed the point and got AUD$78 back, however this left me well and truly out of pocket. I found I got more from the Tony Furgerson diet than I did from Acai.

  59. I went on two sites, one offered a free trial, but you had to cancel within the 15 day trial which i did as i read the small print before purchasing.
    The other website said they will refund UNOPENED product if you send it back, so right there you are at a loss because you have to pay postage twice, once to get the stuff and once to send it back.

  60. I would not advise anyone to buy this product. Acai burn is a fraudulent company and you will be charged monthly for the free trial even if you cancel the order by phone or by post. I have had to cancel my visa card in order to stop them charging my account. This product does not work and you will be tied to a very expensive monthly charge.

  61. About 12 months ago, I started to change my diet. I cut down 80% on beer, cut my fat and cut my carbs. I did very little exercise besides the usual walk around work or shopping but no gym work. I lost about 4 kilos (8 pounds) over about 4 months. I gave up and went back to square one. Discovered Acai berry (freeze dried from an decent UK supplier) and repeated my earlier regime. After about a month the Acai kicked in but I knew it would take this long at least as I’d done my research. I’ve now lost 10 kilos (22 pounds or 1 stone 8 pounds) and all with NO exercise other than a few stomach crunches now and again. The bottom line is that you WILL get the benefit of Acai berry if you work with it. It’s not a miracle cure for obesity or a bad or ‘lazy’ diet. Work with it and it will work for you. The most disheartening thing about dieting is when you really try hard and be strict with yourself and get no results. In my personal experience Acai berry will reward you for your efforts! As I said, give it a month to get in your system, be sensible and then judge it. From my previous experience, I know that it’s not a ‘placebo’ drug that’s all in the mind. Just make sure you get the proper freeze dried Acai from a reputable dealer. I’m now about to take up gym membership to really accelerate my improvements to my health and physique.

  63. I was going to order the Acai Burn, but after reading all the bad reviews, I won’t be ordering it now. It turned me off from buying it. All I can say is that I am so glad I had a chance to read the reiews first. Not good at all.

YOU DONT RECIEVE ANYTHING FOR THE CHARGES. THEN THEY TELL YOU TO RING A EXPENSIVE TOLL NUMBER TO CANCEL IT. I HAD TO CANCEL MY BANK CARD AND GET THEM TO ISSUE ME WITH ANOTHER. PLUS I DIDNT EVEN RECIEVE THE TABLETS TILL 4 WKS AFTER I HAD CANCELLED THE ORDER.

  65. I have been using this product for a week now and have not yet seen any changes to my over all energy level. The one thing that has bothered me though is that I have had a tightness in my throat since taking this product. If anyone else has had this problem please post it, so I will no this is a side effect. As for wieght loss nothing yet to discuss.Good luck to all using this acai berry product.

  71. Well, another one bites the dust. They are PROFESSIONAL SCAM ARTISTS. I canceled my order 15 minutes after placing the on-line order. However, as was well stated, they use a different name, separate the products and charge your account. I don’t know why they want to get over on people. People will pay top dollar for good products. They should send a trial packet that really works and we’ll order it and pay $90 and tell our friends. I’m sending a letter as well to P.O. Box 17855 in Portland, ME 04112. Keep exercising — sit ups, jumping jacks, jogging — old school works!

Oh dear.. i saw an advert on facebook claiming to burn off all this fat etc… turned out to be this acai berry, went through all the links to get my free sample then was met with the credit card page, at that point i googled it and found this page full of disgruntled people that were conned, its really awful that people can rip you you off and continue to get away with it, i’m so glad i did a little research otherwise i’d be handing over 4.99 for shipping of a free trial that would inevitably cost me hundreds! many years ago i was conned when buying a muscle building formula called “russian bear” tried to get a refund, and well, you know the rest. remember people…if it seems too good to be true, it probably is

  74. I just got off the phone w/Andy 8-161 customer service objecting to 3 charges related to the product. I haven’t even received the free trial offer and they are billing me 89.00 for a months supply after I told the girl who called I wouldn’t be interested in more as I hadn’t rec’vd the trail offer as yet After a big hassel I told Andy that I would persue this to the max as a fraudulent business and that I would instruct my bank to charge back the charge to them. First he said he could see why I didn’t rec’v the trail offer as they didn’t have my complete adress the #’s were missing…a few minutes later he said the 89.00 order had shipped already and he couldn’t cancel it - I said how could it have shipped if they didn’t have the complete address for the trail offer?? He said they were expecting the post office to find me - I replied why had theynot done that w/the first order? He did a lot of sputtering and kept saying the same thing over and over. I reall y wanted to send this to the Acai order dept. but cannot find a way to contact them. THEY ARD DEFINATELY A RIP OFF COMPANY AND ARE USED TO HAVING THSES COMPLAINTS. I told him I hated being taken advantage of and that I will persue this as fruad if it costs me my last cent!!   75. Yes, I too was conned by the Acai berry demons, and had to cancel my card. They took a whopping $144.68 out of my account without my knowledge or approval. I tried to contact them via email or phone, and what do you know. None of them exist, or there is no one to answere any of the calls, no matter what time I tried to ring them. Beware of these nasty money making cheaters. They don’t care about normal struggling people who are just trying to lose a bit of weight and feel better about themselves.   76. So I thought I would try the acai berry…NEver had many health problems other than cysts on my ovaries. No biggie. Had it taken care of. Other than that I have no problems such as heart of anything like that. STarted taking the acai berry about 3 weeks ago. Didn’t see any results. In fact saw weight gain. Keep in mind those pills were the color purple. Well they were my dads that he bought from the store. I took those while I was waiting on my “FREE trial.” When I got the bottle the pills were red. SAme bottle as the one before and same ingredients. 2 different colors? WEIRD!! then I go to my bank account and there is a 39 dollar charge and an 87 dollar charge. CAlled the 800 number and couldn’t get through. Ended up freezing my debit card and getting a new one to stop them from taking payments out. Had to go on the website myordersupport.com. Cussed out the person I was talking to and got my stuff cancelled. I was extremely upset. I live on my own with the rent of $667. Thats a lot for one person and doesn’t include any other bills. Push comes to shove if I had known it would cost me that much I would’ve never ordered a free trial because what was supposed to be free became a 127 dollar charge of money I really don’t have at the moment…I HATE ACAI BERRY!!!!

  77. I also ordered the free trial sample of the acai berry slim innocently gave my credit card details. I received the trial order which I used for almost 2 weeks without any positive result on my weight loss objective but the sad thing is that despite the shipment cost charged to my account, they have taken $132.53 and $131.80 in July and August from my account described as viv3 +442031499 and nature berry 416-900-11 respectively without sending me anything. Kindly give me their contact email address and phone number to call them and cancel any further debit to my account

  79. if you really want the safetest way to buy acai berry pills, just buy from e bay, there u can buy your items with high security level (by Pay pal), i have bought my acai berry pill last months n it arrive shortly, and the charges are acceptable, i were only charge $18.49 pounds, and the pills really works for me, i lost 3Kg in just 5 days. believe me, if you want the safetes way just use ebay.

  80. Acai berrys do work. In Australia here we can only buy the juice. I have tried that and it is good.

    But then I brought the ‘free trial’ ones on the net. The Acai berries & the colon cleanser. I brought two of each - one for myself and one for my hubby. Only received one pack. Was checking my credit card statement today, and noticed amounts of AU$138.22 coming out of my account - a few of them!! Rang my bank, and the first thing he asked was ‘have you brought any Acai berry tablets on the net lately”!!! So I have had to cancel my credit card - what a pain!!! But luckily I will get all my money back - we have good banks!!

    So just a warning, Acai berries do work, just don’t buy them over the net. Especially from anyone offering a ‘free trial’. Go to your local health food store.

    My worry now is, what is really in those tablets??? Who knows???
